Balsamic Glazed Chicken Thighs

Preheat the oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C).

Sear the chicken:

Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear chicken, skin-side down, for 4–5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook 2–3 minutes on the other side.

Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, and thyme.

Glaze the chicken: Pour the balsamic glaze over the chicken in the skillet.

Bake: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the glaze is thickened.

Serve: Spoon extra glaze from the skillet over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
